INTERMEDIATE

Already own a DSLR or a high-end compact? In just one or two days, you’ll see your results improve dramatically. Learn how to previsualise your shots for stunning results. Get the best from your hardware and software. Harness the power of Raw files and non-destructive editing for prints that really sparkle. Fine-tune your creative editing and retouching. And lots more!

What you’ll need

A NOTE ON SOFTWARE
In order to get the most out of the tuition on processing your images on Day Two, please follow these guidelines:

There are several perfectly good software programs available for managing and processing your digital images. There is no ‘best’ program; they’re all different, and the best choice for you is the one you’re most comfortable with. Most offer free trial downloads, so take the time to test drive a couple and see which feels most intuitive to you. Regardless of your choice, please have your software installed and running on your laptop before the workshop, and familiarise yourself with how the program is organised; where the tools are, and so on. Nick’s tuition will concentrate on your images, not your software – although, of course, he’ll give you a hand if you’re totally lost...
